Just hours after the National Communication Authority (NCA) released names of radio stations that were fined with various amounts for various offense, One of the most popular radio stations in Tamale, Bishara FM operating on 97.7 MHz went off air. A situation that got many fanatics talking about it. A section of the public thought Bishara FM was shot down by NCA. However, the news team of hyperlinkgh.com can confirm Bishara FM was not in the list of radio stations fined or had their operational licence revoked.
Following up with this development with the General Manager of Bishara FM, Mohammed Abubakari Naporoo also known as DJ Parara indicates the station is currently having a technical challenge. He explained that the people of Wulensi are having “wave destruction” when they tune to the station lately. A situation that demanded a technical approach and hence their decision to go off air in order solve the technical challenge.
DJ Parara was quick to add that the situation had nothing to do with NCA. “We are working on our pole” he stressed. Dj Parara was however very optimistic that Bishara FM could be airing by tomorrow. He made this known to hyperlinkgh.com.
